Something I never thought that I would do

Since my last blog post my friend took me to a pub so that she could watch footy and whilst I was there I decided that I would have a beer which I Haven’t had in about 3 years as alcohol as I just never felt like it. Alcohol hasn’t been a big part of my life due to circumstances when I was younger. It was nice to have a beer and yet it isn’t something I will do on a regular basis because it isn’t something that I really enjoy on a regular basis. It is more of a nice thing to have as more of a celebration type of thing.

This was the back of the pub we went to which was established in 1897 so for Australia that is fairly old.

After footy was over, my friends team won so she was very happy, we went and got a quick dinner so that we could go to a Spiritual Church. I grew up in a religion which I actually enjoyed and even though I have had many so called friends tell me I grew up in a cult, it wasn’t that. It was like any other church and as I grew older I knew that if I didn’t want to go I didn’t have to as my parents wouldn’t force me. I did go less often when I joined St John Ambulance and then became a Volunteer Paramedic as some of the shifts would be on our sabbath.

Over the years I had thought about going to a regular church or finding spiritual churches and yet I was so busy with my career and volunteering that I never made it a priority. Last night was lovely as we had an opening and closing messages, a reading about forgiveness from a book, songs and then at the end the guest did mediumship. I laugh because I put up walls and asked any of my crossed over loved ones not to come through because I can do this myself and I wanted others to experience their loved ones coming through.

I enjoyed the night and have already decided that I will go back to a spiritual church because I enjoyed it and also because my friend is a guest medium quite often at spiritual churches. It was a nice little community which is what I have been craving and didn’t find where I previously lived.

When we got home I went to bed after a quick chat with my friend as I was so tired. I had bought a couple of contoured, memory foam pillows as I need them to help me sleep. If I hadn’t had a fair bit to drink I would have slept all night. Instead I got up a couple of times during the night which interrupted my sleep. I didn’t stay up for the eclipse though otherwise I would be so very tired. I also knew that I wanted to get on and be on a Mastermind call with my coach.

My energy has already shifted in a great way so I am ready to move my life forward including finding work and working on my business so that it continues to grow.

As I am typing this out I am sitting outside which is so good because I never got to do that where I lived and I love nature. The beautiful nature is speaking to me with beautiful bird songs.

Till next time

Darleen
